NORSU performs in recent licensure exams

May 2016 CPALE

Two new Certified Public Accountants (CPA) from the College of Business Administration (CBA) passed the May 2016 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam (CPALE) obtaining a passing rate of 40%.

Names With a national passing rate of 42.84%, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) posted 2,967 out of 6,925 passers for the May CPALE administered by the Board of Accountancy.

May 2016 CELE

Another 10 takers from the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) with a passing rate of 76.92% are added to the list of engineering professionals from NORSU after passing the May Civil Engineer Licensure Examination (CELE) held in 10 different cities around the country.

The new civil engineers are Lief Andrian June A. Benson, Vic G. Del Rosario, Peter Claus D. Distrito, Mark Anthony M. Gonzales, Mia Fe O. Pino, Rommel A. Pis-an, Shiela Marie E. Suelto, Gilbert A. Tajada, Amethyst C. Tolentino, and Charlemagne M. Ayco.

To note, 2,245 out of 5,882 passed the May CELE conducted by the Board of Civil Engineering.

April 2016 CrimLE

The College of Criminology (CCJE) produces 17 new professional criminologists, obtaining a passing rate of 32.69% last April 2016.

Names Nine fresh takers and eight repeaters from NORSU made the cut during the Criminologist Licensure Exam (CrimLE) adding to the 3,928 out of 16,435 passers around the country.

The College of Nursing, Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences (CNPAHS) enlisted three midwives after obtaining a passing rate of 60% in the April 2016 Midwife Licensure Exam.

Names PRC announced that three out of five examinees from NORSU passed the Midwife Licensure Exam.

Administered by the Board of Midwifery in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga, 1,055 out of 2,145 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination last April 2016.

April 2016 EELE

CEA has newly registered three electronics engineers in the April 2016 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination held in selected cities in the country.

With a passing rate of 75%, three out of four examinees from NORSU passed the examination, obtaining a passing rate of 36.95%.

The successful examinees are Lyndy Louise F. Oracion, Bryle Andrian L. Alforque, and Geoffrey P. Lagarnia Jr.

In the country, 917 out of 2,482 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examinationgiven by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao this April 2016.

March 2016 LET

The College of Education (CEd) enlisted new Elementary and Secondary Education teachers in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) conducted last March 20.

For Elementary Education, 15 out of 34 examinees from NORSU passed the exam, obtaining a passing rate of 44.12%. Meanwhile, 26 out of 100 examinees passed the Secondary Education examination, garnering a passing rate of 26%.

PRC and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announced that 12,128 elementary teachers out of 42,739 examinees (28.38%) and 18,810 secondary teachers out of 53,090 examinees (35.43) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in twenty testing centers all over the Philippines.

Meanwhile, CEA also registered a passing rate of 66.67% after producing two new mechanical engineers during the March 2015 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examinations.

As disclosed by the PRC, two out of three Norsunians passed as Mechanical Engineers.They are Alexander L. Arguilles and Hope Lee E. Oira.

Names Last March, 910 out of 1,645 examinees around the country passed the said examination as posted by the PRC.
